Report of Li yaqiang about the 42nd Clinical Anesthesia conference of Japan
The 42nd Clinical Anesthesia conference of Japan 2022 was held in Kyoto International Conference Center, Kyoto, Japan from November 11 to 12. I was fortunate to be able to attend this Conference under the guidance of Prof. Morimatsu and with the help of Mrs. Shimizu.
In this conference, I gave a presentation with the title : “The protective effect of carbamazepine on hemorrhagic shock and resuscitation-induced acute lung injury in rats”. I was assigned by the organizing committee to the 3rd venue in the morning of the 11th, and I am honored to have my topic selected as a alternate excellent presentation.
I was the fifth one in Session 3, and due to the careful guidance of Prof. Morimatsu and Mrs. Shimizu, I was confident that I could successfully complete my presentation, so the whole presentation was conducted in a very relaxed state, and during the questioning session, the guest lecturers gave me very pertinent questions that allowed me to think more deeply about my research.
After this conference, I was able to see many scholars and had the honor to listen to many excellent presentations. I not only learned a lot of professional knowledge and technology, but also further exercised my expression ability and spoken English. What is more, I gained a certain understanding of the current international cutting-edge research directions and methods. During the breaks in the conference, we were able to communicate freely with the participants, which was not only an opportunity to establish friendship with colleagues from other research units, but also deepen my understanding of some issues, which played a good role in promoting subsequent research.
Finally, I would like to express my special thanks to the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitology of Okayama University for giving me such a good opportunity to attend this conference, to the Department of Medicine of Okayama University for supporting international students to participate in academic conferences, and to my supervisor, Prof. Morimatsu, for his support and encouragement, and for his kind words of advice on academic matters. I am grateful to Mrs. Shimizu for her selfless help in my research and presentation. I am also grateful to Mrs. Sato and Mrs. Ishida for their help in the procedures of the conference. Through this conference, I have gained insight, enriched my experience, recognized my shortcomings, clarified my current research topic, and reinforced my direction. I will study harder, conduct research experiments seriously, and try to produce more and better results.
